Celebrating Diversity

This Canada Day, we are celebrating our roots and what makes each of us unique.

We honour our relationship with the Sts’ailes People and our connection to their traditional territory, now known as Harrison Hot Springs. This land, once known as the Village of Qwólts by the Sts’ailes People, holds deep cultural and historical significance, and we are honoured to share in its stewardship.

Tourism Harrison River Valley is proud to organize this year’s Canada Day festivities on behalf of the Village of Harrison Hot Springs. A cherished tradition in our community, this event welcomes over 10,000 visitors annually and continues to grow each year, thanks to the dedication of our volunteer committee.

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our Canada Day celebrations a success! Whether you’re assisting with setup, supporting activities, or guiding guests, your time and energy will help bring the day to life.

Bring your pet out to celebrate at the Canada Day Pet Parade! Costumes are encouraged, and this year’s theme is Magical Faeries and Beautiful Butterflies.

Get ready to show your Canadian pride and join the fun! We’re inviting individuals, groups, and organizations to take part in the annual Canada Day Parade in beautiful Harrison Hot Springs.

Whether you’ve got a classic car to show off, a float to decorate, a marching band ready to play, or simply want to dress up and ride your bike—everyone is welcome! Costumes, decorations, and creativity are highly encouraged.
