Lace up your hiking boots, head just up the road and discover the diverse trails and routes in the Harrison River Valley by participating in our Hiking Challenge!

How to Participate:

Hike any 5 of the trails listed below until November 30, snap the photos indicated in our list and submit your images using the link below. The first 100 participants are eligible to receive our Harrison River Valley coin, pictured below. All photo submissions will be entered to win our Harrison River Valley Giveaway, which includes a 1-night stay at one of our accommodations, Gift Certificates for Muddy Waters Cafe, The River’s Edge Restaurant, and the Broken Whisk, a Harrison River Valley gift bag, and a jet-boat wildlife tour for 2 from Harrison Eco Tours. Winner will be chosen December 1. See Terms and Conditions below.

  4. Kilby Beach/Historic Site, Harrison Mills
  5. Gazebo at the end of the Eagle Interpretive Trail, Harrison Mills

Moderate

  1. Whippoorwill Point Lookout, Sandy Cove Whippoorwill Point Trail, Harrison
  2. Denham’s Trail (Weaver Lake), Harrison Mills

Difficult

  1. Campbell Lake (Harrison Grind) Lookout, Harrison
  2. Bear Mountain Lookout, Bear Mountain, Kent
  3. Slollicum Lookout, Slollicum Peak, Kent

Terms and Conditions: By submitting photos to Tourism Harrison’s collector, participants agree to grant Tourism Harrison the rights to use the photo in printed or digital marketing. Unlimited entries allowed. No purchase required. Non-transferable. Contest closes at 11:59pm PST on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. Winner will be randomly selected and contacted via Instagram direct message. Prize must be accepted as is and holds no cash value. Transportation is the responsibility of the winner.
