With Family Day only a few days after Valentine’s Day, it’s a time of connection, bonding, and love – for the family you were born into, a family that you are raising, a friends group that feels like family, or even a furry pet family! Family comes in so many forms, and we welcome all families to enjoy the events, activities, and attractions in the Harrison River Valley. Family Fun Day
Show your love for your family this Valentine’s Day! The whole family will enjoy this FREE afternoon of activities, including a bouncy castle, games, and healthy snacks, “try-it” introductions to recreation programs, and community booths!
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16 (Family Day) Celebrate BC Family Day with these scheduled activities:
9:30 am – 12:30pm: Family Pickleball
1:00pm – 4:00pm: Family Playtime
SASQUATCH MOUNTAIN RESORT
Yeti Tube Park, 20955 Hemlock Valley Road
Tubing is a thrilling activity that evokes screams of laughter and will make adults feel like a kid again! It’s a fantastic way to enjoy fresh-air fun with your kids. Each session of tubing lasts two hours, and advanced booking is recommended.
The Tube Park is open:
Fridays: 4 – 8pm
Saturdays: 10 am – 8pm
Sundays: 10 am – 4pm

STARLIGHT SKATING RINK

The Starlight Skating Rink is open daily until Family Day for FREE skating, but you must bring your own skates as the rental booth is closed for the season.

AGASSIZ HARRISON MUSEUM
7011 Pioneer Avenue, Agassiz
FEBRUARY 14 – APRIL 4
Starting February 14, the museum is hosting an exhibit in celebration of the Lunar New Year: Remembering Agassiz’s Chinese History
Did you know that Agassiz had a Chinatown? Many Chinese labourers made Agassiz their home during and after the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Join the museum as they uncover and discuss this forgotten piece of history using fascinating artifacts from the community’s descendants, and the railway. Come by and check it out!

HARRISON VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE & SASQUATCH MUSEUM
499 Hot Springs Road, Harrison Hot Springs
Open 10 am – 4pm daily
The museum focuses on Sasquatch, but also features exhibits, including the Land of the Giants and the Sts’ailes Longhouse room. From artifacts and firsthand witness accounts to scientific exploration, the museum promises an immersive journey through fact and folklore. Explore new exhibits, including carvings, interactive displays, and a glimpse into the rich heritage within the Sts’ailes Longhouse Room. Take your picture with our 8ft Sasquatch or pick up a souvenir. Entrance to the museum is free. Be sure to check out the gift shop, featuring local books on the Sasquatch, Indigenous collectibles, and everything Sasquatch!
