Holiday Happenings in the Harrison River Valley

The arrival of colder weather signals the start of something magical. This year, the Harrison River Valley will be radiating warmth, wonder and hope with a wide variety of special holiday happenings! Gather your friends and family, bundle up and head #JustUpTheRoad for these upcoming events:

Lights by The Lake: November 20 – January 10

Experience the dazzle and delight of winter in the Harrison River Valley. Each winter, our enchanting holiday display transforms the Harrison lakefront into a captivating world of lights, depicting local wildlife and the elusive Sasquatch! You’ll be amazed at the wonderous weeping willows, Christmas trees, and old fashioned street lamps glowing with colour and light at the Village Square Plaza. As you stroll along the promenade, you’ll delight in the custom built light displays, like a sparkling Sasquatch fishing for sturgeon and keeping warm by a fire; and a brilliant flock of geese under the canopy of the weeping willows. Pose for photos with a variety of vibrantly painted selfie stands. The promenade is fully paved, making it wheelchair and stroller-friendly.

Christmas Tree Trail: November 20 – December 31

Unwrap the holiday season in Harrison Hot Springs! The Christmas Tree Trail is a self-guided Christmas Tree Tour that winds through the village of Harrison Hot Springs. Enjoy seasonal favourites at our featured coffee shops, restaurants, and retailers. Find last-minute Christmas gifts, for others (and yourself!) and collect stamps at each of the participating stamp locations for a chance to win the grand prize!

Grand Prize: 1 night stay at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort, a Family Season’s Pass to Kilby Historic Site (for use in 2022), a two-hour Forest Bathing Experience with Yadoma Nature & Forest Therapy, a $25 Gift Card to Muddy Waters Café, and a $50 Gift Card to Milo’s Greek Taverna.
