Earth Day Events

This Earth Day, Earthwise is determined to inspire hope amidst the challenges of climate change with a very special celebration. The event promises a day of connection, reflection, and action in the face of environmental adversity. Visitors can take part in one, or both, of our engaging activities:

The Climate Cafe (drop in: 11am – 2pm)

Drop in and enjoy a cup of tea, engage in conversation and discover environmental-based resources. Community partners will share some ways to connect with our natural spaces. Come with your questions on how to make a difference from your own backyard!

Becoming Grounded: Nature Journaling Workshop ( 10 am – 12 pm)

Come and learn where science meets art! Nature journaling is a great way to slow down and connect with nature- no prior experience needed! You’ll learn a range of practices that can be used to create your own personalized nature journal. Pre-registration required. Cost: $20-40, includes a sketchbook. Pre-registration required!
