The Harrison Festival Society presents the soulful sounds of Motown with award-winning vocalist Krystle Dos Santos, live at the Harrison Hot Springs Memorial Hall on Saturday, November 15.
A History of Motown takes audiences on a musical journey through the legendary hits that defined an era. From the infectious rhythms of The Supremes to the timeless melodies of Stevie Wonder, Dos Santos brings Motown to life with powerhouse vocals and captivating stage presence.
Krystle Dos Santos is a dynamic vocalist, songwriter, and performer whose rich, soulful sound has captivated audiences across Canada. She has shared stages with celebrated artists such as Allen Stone, Serena Ryder, Ruth B., Stevie Wonder, and Michael Bublé. Beyond performance, Dos Santos is a musical historian, using her art to illuminate the cultural and historical impact of music. Her projects, including BLAK: Canadian Women in Music, A History of Motown, and Hey Viola!—a musical tribute to civil rights icon Viola Desmond—blend education and entertainment, celebrating the roots of Black music and Canadian history.
In addition to her solo work, Dos Santos is a member of the country-rock band Orchard Sky, bringing Black representation and storytelling to Canadian country music. Whether on stage, in the studio, or curating historical narratives, she ensures that the past, present, and future of music remain deeply connected.
