Harrison Mills, BC, Canada

Once a thriving mill town, Harrison Mills is located west of Agassiz between Mount Woodside and the Harrison River. It is now an agricultural farming and tourism-based community known for it’s annual gathering of bald eagles each fall and winter. As many as 10,000 eagles return annually, making the Harrison River Valley home to the world’s largest winter congregation of bald eagles.

This region is located on the traditional territory of the Sts’ailes, Scowlitz, Leq’a:mel, Xax’tsa, Samahquam, and Skatin First Nations.
